I’d done a couple of mini sessions with Kirsti’s children before so it was a lovely opportunity to do a maternity photo shoot in the studio with her as she prepares to welcome Baby 3 into the family. Lucy was keen to get some gorgeous black and white family studio portraits for their home, with husband Nico, daughter Coco and labradoodle Marlow. The prints look amazing!
For the last couple of years I’ve done a pre-Christmas special on studio sessions. The first year it was because I had the time and space while I was holding a 3-week long exhibition in the town centre of Denmark… and this last time it was because I’d had so much fun the year before!
I love how all their personalities shine through, not just in their choice of outfits but in their approach to being photographed. At some point I really want to do a blog post about my recent exhibition called Lives Well Lived. However, now's not the time as I combined it with a pop-up studio and I'm still crazy-busy with session bookings and post-processing. Once I've caught up on myself...then will be the time!
