Lisa and Dan's pre-wedding photo session had turned into a pregnancy portrait session with Lisa by then 6 months pregnant, so it was completely lovely to meet baby Layla for the first time on their wedding day in Denmark, WA recently, and to witness how adored she is by all her extended family.

Anna and Darren both got ready at William Bay Country Cottages and the ceremony also took place there among the peppermint trees. Their reception was at Pepper & Salt Restaurant at Forest Hill Winery in Denmark.

It's almost a year ago that I photographed Xave and Eve, not long before their baby was born, (those images are here), so what a joy it was to spend the day with them recently capturing their little family when they were back down here in Denmark for a few days.

I always feel honoured when couples whose weddings I've photographed invite me to capture the next chapter of their lives. How gorgeous to spend the afternoon with Svetlana and Miles, catch up with their Mums again, and meet their two beautiful children for the first time.
