I met Josie soon after I moved to town and have watched her 3 young daughters growing up, sharing ups and downs along the way. Josie is one of the most amazing women I know, negotiating life’s hurdles with strength and dignity. She’s also a no-nonsense kind-of-a-gal and a bit of a gypsy at heart…and she seems to have met the perfect match in Jeremy.
Their wedding was always going to be a simple affair – Josie was even intending to drive herself and her girls to the wedding ceremony! When they were trying to think of venues a few months ago, I suggested they approach Val at William Bay Cottages. There used to be a shop and cafe on the propery which I’d always thought would make a fantastic venue for a wedding, with accommodation right there and lots of beautiful spots to choose from for the ceremony and photos. It turned out to be just what they were looking for and they even offered to give Val a hand to pretty the place up with a fresh coat of paint.
With the 3 girls, and the recent addition of Charlie, the day was always going to be about family and children – a celebration of life and love.
